Eswatini, known as Swaziland until 2018, is a small landlocked kingdom in southern Africa, tucked between South Africa and Mozambique. Its twin capitals, Lobamba and Mbabane, sit close together in the country's western highlands. The land climbs from lowland savanna to misty highveld peaks, and Swazi ceremonial traditions such as the Umhlanga reed dance remain vividly alive.
